Die deutsch-iranische Künstlerin arbeitet in den Medien Fotografie, Video und Skulptur und erforscht vorrangig die Verbindung von Zeit- und Raumsystemen. Bekannt wurde sie mit dem Projekt World Time Clock (2008–2014), für das sie um die Welt reiste, um in allen Zeitzonen eine öffentliche Uhr jeweils um fünf Minuten vor zwei zu fotografieren. In ihrer für die Fassade des Wolfsburger Schlosses konzipierten Arbeit The City – Eine Transnationale Skyline führt die in Berlin lebende Künstlerin zehn Wolkenkratzer wie das Empire State Building, die Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur oder den Burj Khalifa in Dubai zu einer hybriden Hochhauskulisse zusammen. Exactly what I wanted. Exact quality thickness and sturdiness. Only small downside is they're coated in a wax like substance and stick together so you have to pry them apart and if you microwave something, it tends to meld together and also stick into the bowl. But I still love them especially the price.
