Die Bilder, die sich ihm damals und seither auf seinen Fahrten im Westen der Vereinigten Staaten entlang der Straßen boten, hat er immer wieder künstlerisch bearbeitet. Das Künstlerbuch Ed Ruscha. Road Tested besteht aus rund 75 Werken, umfasst die gesamte Laufbahn des Künstlers und spürt Schlüsselwerke auf, die von seiner Liebe zum Autofahren und zu Fahrzeugen inspiriert sind. Der Band enthält einige der berühmtesten Arbeiten des mehrfachen Documenta-Teilnehmers, etwa die mittlerweile zu Ikonen gewordenen Standard Stations, die Hollywood Signs oder seine von Straßenschildern inspirierten Gemälde. Good Core Content but I won't read it again

This book makes a strong stand for the position that the Bible does not fit within the genre of myth. That is the positive aspects of this work. However, this book at times seems somewhat philosophical, it can be hard to follow the author's logic, and it does not adequately cover one of the most fundamental questions the author poses. For example, the question of whether the theology of the Bible should receive special credence if the historical basis it rests on is found to be incorrect is asked, but the answer given is short and does not fully interact with the question which I found to be very disappointing.

Really Helpful and Easier to Use Than I Expected
Format: Paperback
I bought the APA 7th Edition manual for my college research papers, and it’s been a lifesaver. Compared to the older edition, this one feels much clearer and way easier to navigate. The full-color layout and the examples throughout really help when I’m stuck on how to format citations or references.
I especially appreciate the new sections tailored for students like me—it’s not just for professional writers anymore. Plus, the tips on inclusive language made me think more carefully about how I write.
It’s definitely a dense read if you try to go cover-to-cover, but as a reference book, it’s super practical. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey, but for the quality and how often I use it, it’s totally worth it.
If you’re in school or need to write APA-style papers regularly, I’d recommend grabbing this manual. It makes the whole process less stressful.
