Das Ocean Earth The Bug in "purple" ist ein günstiges und sehr leichtes Einsteiger Softboard für Kinder und Jugendliche, um einfach und sicher in die ersten Wellen zu kommen. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Softboards gibt es das Bug schon ab 4’0’’, was nahezu unmittelbar da ansetzt, wo Bodyboard Längen aufhören. Somit eignet sich das Bug für alle Kids, um die ersten Wellenreit-Erfahrungen zu sammeln.

Die runde Outline und die flache Rockerlinie sorgen für einfaches Angleiten in kleinsten Wellen. Die Softcover Bauweise und weichen Finnen minimieren die Verletzungsgefahr. Während die kurzen Längen bis 5’2’’ mit Twin Fin Set up kommen, verfügen 5’6’’ und 6’0’’ über das etwas stabilere Thruster Set up.

Für Jugendliche ab 14 Jahren aufwärts empfehlen wir aber eher die etwas steiferen und robusteren Softboards von Softech oder gar Epoxy Softboards, die über einen harten Kern verfügen.
