Das Legehennenfutter GROB kombiniert eine strukturreiche Mischung mit einem besonderen Vorteil: Die enthaltenen Feinanteile sind pelletiert. Dadurch bleiben wichtige Nährstoffe nicht mehr im Futtertrog zurück, sondern werden zuverlässig aufgenommen. Ideal für alle Hühnerhalter, bei denen der mehlige Anteil sonst gerne aussortiert wird.

Durch die grobe Struktur wird das Futter von vielen Hühnern sehr gut angenommen und sorgt für natürliche Beschäftigung beim Picken. Gleichzeitig stellen die pelletierten Feintanteile sicher, dass auch die wertvollen Nährstoffe vollständig gefressen werden.

Hühner reagieren oft sensibel auf Futterumstellungen. Gewöhnen Sie Ihre Tiere daher langsam an die Pellets. Mit etwas Eingewöhnungszeit lernen die Hühner schnell, auch diese gerne zu fressen.

Tipps:
Kein frisches Futter nachfüllen, bevor der Trog weitgehend leergefressen ist. So lernen die Hühner, auch die pelletierten Feinanteile aufzunehmen.
Zusätzlich in einer separaten Futterschale Muschelgrit oder Futterkalk anbieten, um die Versorgung mit Calcium zu unterstützen.

They may perform better on a brick wall, but on drywall you should be cautious. To fix the problem, I had to purchase floating shelf brackets for support, which solved the sagging issue. However, this defeats the purpose of the “floating” aesthetic. Since the shelf is in my bedroom, I can overlook it, but I personally wouldn’t install these in a common area if I wanted a clean floating look.
