This gorgeous Izumo Carmel Sunset is Platinum's very first Urushi writing instrument made in brilliant vermilion -- It's exclusive to The Pleasure of Writing, celebrating our 30th anniversary. With more than 30 layers of Urushi, the vermilion finish will transform over time, evolving into a deeper and ever more nuanced hue the more it is used. It arrives in a gorgeous wood presentation box and includes a sleeve and converter. Please contact us for UEF, EF, and Coarse nibs as they are available through special order.
