This versatile pack of 50 adjustable LED downlights is a game-changer for large-scale construction and makeovers. Its IP20 rating makes it a perfect fit for various indoor spaces, except the bathroom (it is not water-resistant). The downlight's adjustable gimbal also allows for precise light beam direction, giving you the power to create the perfect task or accent lighting.
Our LED downlight is a breeze to install with its twist-and-lock mechanism and large loop-in/out push-fit terminal block! It is also mains-powered, eliminating the need for a separate driver or transformer. Furthermore, this downlight is insulation-coverable, which means you can loosely cover the rear of the downlight with insulation. However, this feature is only allowed when paired with a GU10 bulb with a maximum power of 7w.
While this fitting works with any GU10 bulb, it requires a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch to utilise its dimming function. The GU10 bulb comes in three LED colours: natural white, cool white, and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are perfect for task lighting, while warm white light suits ambient lighting.
The downlight's slim profile and elegant matt black finish match various design schemes, including contemporary, minimalist, industrial, and traditional. Its open-can design also ensures the longevity of the GU10 LED lamp used.
Moreover, these downlights are about more than just aesthetics. They are fire-rated to provide 30, 60, and 90 minutes of protection for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. This safety feature ensures that cutting an opening into the ceiling to mount recessed features won't compromise its natural fire barrier. Only fire-rated downlights like this can enhance the ceiling's fire integrity with their built-in intumescent pad that inflates to a specific temperature.
