The Hobbywing QUICRUN WP 1080-G2 ESC is specifically designed with crawler fans in mind. It offers an innovative and exciting experience for any enthusiast.

"The First Real Car Mode"

With this ESC, you can switch the direction of the motor in real time using the idle channel on your transmitter:
Pull the trigger for "forward."
Push the trigger for "brake."
Pull the trigger with the reverse channel active for "reverse." (Note: Requires an open channel on your receiver.)

This unique feature provides a truly authentic and enjoyable experience, unlike anything else available.

Four Running Modes Available:
Choose the mode that fits your driving style and needs:
Forward with brakes.
Forward, reverse, and brakes.
Forward and reverse.
Real car running mode.

Real-Time Drag Brake Force Adjustment:
Adjust the drag brake force on the fly! With the drag brake force signal connected to an open channel on the receiver, you can easily modify the drag brake without needing a programmer. (Note: Requires an open channel on your receiver.)

Temperature Control Upgrade:
The new design reduces the ESC's operating temperature by approximately 15°C, improving reliability. Additionally, the ESC includes a fan mount for enhanced cooling when needed.

BEC Upgrade:
The upgraded BEC supports up to 6A of output and provides 6V, 7.4V, and 8.4V output options, making it compatible with most servos on the market.

Easy Parameter Adjustments:
With 15 programmable options, tuning your vehicle has never been easier. Use the LED Programming Box (connected to the ESC’s programming port) for quick adjustments.

IP67 Protection:
The ESC is rated IP67, making it waterproof and dustproof, ensuring reliable performance across various weather conditions and driving surfaces. The IP67 rating is tested in controlled lab conditions and offers splash, water, and dust resistance. However, the level of protection may decrease over time with regular use.

High-Quality Electronic Switch Design:
The ESC features a reliable electronic switch, eliminating the risk of mechanical switch failure due to dirt, water, dust, or other contaminants.

Built-in Multiple Protections:
The ESC includes essential protections, such as:
Low voltage cut off protection.
Thermal protection.
Throttle signal loss protection.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
