Każda tarcza jest odlewana z wysokowęglowego stopu G3500, który posiada wysoką zawartość węgla i miedzi, a co za tym idzie doskonałą przewodność cieplną, a także bardzo dobre właściwości ścierne. W procesie produkcji, EBC Brakes korzysta z odlewu metodą „centre split", która to pozwala na wykonywanie tarcz mniej podatnych na odkształcenia przy działaniu wysokiej temperatury (taki problem jest powszechny przy użyciu standardowych, tanich metod odlewniczych). Zapewnia to maksymalną trwałość i wydajność tarczy hamulcowej, szczególnie podczas wyczynowej jazdy rajdowej lub wyścigowej. Dodatkowo na tarczach znajdują się nacięcia, odpowiedzialne za usuwanie resztek pyłu ścieranych z okładzin klocków oraz zmniejszenie ciśnienia gazów powstającego pomiędzy okładziną, a tarczą.
Tarcze EBC Racing wyposażone są w 48 wewnętrznych, kierunkowych (prawo-lewo) kominów wentylacyjnych, których zadaniem jest chłodzenie tarczy.
Flansza (tzw. dzwon) zastosowana w tarczach EBC Racing jest precyzyjnie wycięta z kawałka aluminium wykorzystywanego w przemyśle lotniczym i kosmicznym, dzięki czemu jest mocna i lekka. Flansza anodowana jest na czarno, dzięki czemu ma wysoką odporność na korozję i wysokie walory estetyczne. Flansza może być wykorzystywana do różnych tarcz hamulcowych.
Jednym z najmniejszych, a jednocześnie najbardziej innowacyjnych komponentów zastosowanych w tarczach EBC Racing, są wykonane ze stali nierdzewnej śruby SD-Drive ™ mocujące flansze do tarczy. W przeciwieństwie do większości śrub konkurencji, które są obrabiane ze stali a następnie ocynkowane w celu obniżenia kosztów, nasze śruby SD-Drive ™ są wyprodukowane z jednego kawałka stali nierdzewnej, co zapewnia maksymalną wytrzymałość i odporność na korozję. Każda śruba jest wyposażona w sprężynowy klips zapewniający absorbcję drgań, efektem jest cicha praca podczas jazdy.

Asurion "Assures" nothing!
Asurion has terrible Customer Support. All machine based. They give you no phone # for human interaction. Their online Support process is very close-ended. It is a checklist designed to frustrate purchasers whose issue lies outside only the very issue.
My issue: I bought "Cuisinart TOB-40FR Custom Classic Toaster Oven Broiler, Silver (Renewed)" on May 26, 2024. It stated it had a 90 day warranty. So I bought an Asurion Protection Plan also to cover it for 3 years. The toaster started flaking off metal finish inside the oven over the cooking area. I tried to file a claim with Asurion and they told me the Manufacturers warranty was still in effect and I should contact Cuisinart. This despite the oven was sold with a Amazon Renewed verbiage stating a 90 day warranty.
And they have nothing on their "Machine Checklist" to cover this eventuality. And I would assume I am not the only one who takes the "Renewed" route and backs it up with a "Protection Plan".
They will frustrate you no end. I suspect, like many insurances, they seek to deny, deny, deny, in hopes the purchaser will give up.

GIFT CARD AS REPLACEMENT, NO CHOICE OF CHECK OR REPLACEMENT. GOOD COMPANY
PROS:
* A decent company, responsive and fair.
* Allows you to buy items from anywhere you want, and buy the warranty at Amazon.
* Provides better coverage than other warranties, and covers more, including breakage!
CON:
They don't send you a check in order to buy wherever you want, send a replacement, or give you a choice. Instead, they send you an Amazon Gift Card. That's OK if you're a big Amazon shopper, but sometimes, you can get a better price elsewhere.
