This classy Necklace showcases a Turquoise and Sterling Silver Cross Pendant by Santa Fe artist Dan Dodson. The Cross is defined by 22 Turquoise round stones, ranging in diameter from 5mm to 10mm. The stones are a rich turquoise-green, with traces of golden brown matrix. They are set in raised Sterling Silver Bezels, and ornamented by 34 handcrafted Sterling Silver Balls. These elements sit on a plate of Sterling Silver that has been cut to mirror the perimeter shape formed by the Turquoise stones. The Sterling plate is oxidized on the front, creating contrast and highlighting the Turquoise and Sterling Silver Balls. The Pendant drapes from a custom V-shaped Sterling Silver Bail that has been stamped in a linear design. The piece is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling."

We've paired the Turquoise and Sterling Silver Cross with Graduated Nevada Turquoise Round Disc. The Disc ranges in dimension from 6mm to 16mm; the change in size is measured, creating a graceful transition from one stone to the next. The Turquoise exhibits a range of hues from sky blue to blue-green, with attractive golden and dark brown matrix. The stones are complemented by 12 Sterling Silver Beads, including four 9mm and 12mm handmade Stamped Rounds on either side of the Pendant Bail and eight 6mm Rounds at the top of the Necklace strand. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 113 grams and is 20-3/4 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 3-1/4 inches by 2-1/4 inches including the 1/2-inch Bail (when wearing, a vertical length of about 10-1/2 inches).

This book will crush infertile couples
Format: Paperback
I don't know how this book has a 5-star review rating. It's poorly researched and lacks any depth on the very subject it's supposed to be dealing with. The first section on Birth-Control just goes on and on about how Children are a Blessing and a Reward from God. And it says in one of the footnotes that the only reason couples shouldn't have kids is if the wife has a medical condition that would make pregnancy life-threatening or they are too old when they got married. Infertility isn't even mentioned. In the section on Infertility, there is NO research on how common it is, what causes it, etc. It's just Infertility is hard on women, and men will never quite understand why. And then on ARTs, they are treated as a guarantee that a couple will have kids if they do the treatment. The one and only stat he cites in this section is on IVF and he clearly read the information wrong. He didn't look to see what the difference is between cycles and transfers and said that IVF has over a 50% success rate in women under 34. That number is way too high and will only cause false hope, and misunderstandings about childless couples. And some of his research was from 2007, making it out of date in this cutting-edge technology.
