Limited 180 gram audiophile vinyl LP pressing of this album from the veteran jazz pianist. Released in 1978 this is the second album by Jarrett's European Quartet (Belonging, released four years earlier in 1974, was the first), but arguably the most popular due to the haunting track "My Song", Jarrett composed all six compositions. On the album, Jarrett is joined by Jan Garbarek (saxophone), Palle Danielsson (bass) and Jon Christensen (drums). Jarrett started his career with Art Blakey, moving on to play with Charles Lloyd and Miles Davis. Since the early 1970s he has enjoyed a great deal of success as a group leader and a solo performer in jazz, jazz fusion, and classical music. His improvisations draw from the traditions of jazz and other genres, especially Western classical music, gospel, blues, and ethnic folk music.

Good quality, but a few issues with the hidden mounts and levelness.

These are quite nice and also sturdy. Only complaint I have is that I bought a couple of these, and on one of them, only one of them, it was difficult to get the hidden mounts to go into the holes. I think it was probably a manufacturing defect thing. Also, on that particular one, it wasnt as level as the other. Not a show stopper, but if you need a perfectly level type of mounting situation, I would be careful here.
