Citrus australasica ~ Australian Finger LimeAustralian Finger Lime is a unique fruit producing evergreen shrub with sparse thorns and finger sized fruits with pearl like pulp that can begin harvesting in fall. The fragrant pink and white flowers bloom in winter. The fruits mature to a pale yellow when fully ripe, and the pulp pearls have a juicy burst that tastes similar to key lime. Grows best in full sun and sandy to loamy well drained acidic soils. Cannot tolerate frost. Doesn't ripen well

Avoid getting oil from the rind on the pearls, as it can affect taste.
