FOR THE WIN
Simply rub into the desired area. Layer different colors as needed. Or try shaving the brick to create a fine powder and mix colors before applying. An applicator such as a make-up brush, cotton swab or toothbrush can be used. A prechalk (Extravagant or Voluptuous are perfect!) can be used to help hold the color in place. Lightly misting a hair spray such as Meticulous will help set the color.
MORE ABOUT CHALK
Each stick is approximately 1"x1"x3". They are handmade and hand cut. There are imperfections! They can crumble and break easily. Shipping, transporting between shows, dropping, etc. will all have an impact on the shape and size of each brick. Brick pieces and dust are still useable.
Chalk is a temporary color. Some of the darker colors may stain and/or require repeated shampooing to remove completely.
Chalk gets "dirty" when it comes in contact with other colors. It is easy to clean by brushing it off with a paper towel over a trash can. Do not use water. Store in an air tight container out of direct sunlight.
If your chalk ever gets damp or moldy, it is not a loss. Dry it in the sun or a low oven at 100-125 degrees. For this purpose only the sun is okay.
