Made with a strong, durable, breathable, and waterproof 1200D polyester outer, this lightweight turnout blanket also comes with a detachable neck cover. It has 100g of Thermobonded fiberfill, ensuring a comfortable and consistent temperature in cooler weather.

The combination of the contoured detachable hood, Surefit Neck Design, V-front closure system, and leg arches gives your horse freedom to move and graze without restriction. Three cross surcingles, optional leg strap loops, and a wipe-clean tail cord offer a secure adjustable fit. The anti-static, anti-bacterial, shine-enhancing lining ensures your horse's comfort, and liner loops allow you to choose from our extensive range of Horseware® liners to upgrade on warmth as and when required.

This jacket is very light weight, made of very thin nylon type materials. Concerned of its abrasion resistance. Only inside of sleeves are fleece lined. It is very comfortable and fits well to size. Don’t have enough cold weather yet to test, so we’ll see. Not sure this is a great value for the money.

It also helps with the sun, with a UV protection rating of 30+. It seems very durable, but it is not bulky at all. In fact, the whole jacket stretches a bit for even more comfort and a good fit. Whatever climate you live in, this jacket will provide you warmth and comfort without bulking you up like the Hulk. it's a great little jacket to keep in the car or at the office.
