Digitally remastered edition of this 1982 album from the legendary guitarist. Includes 16 page full-color booklet, new essay about the making of the album, enhanced artwork and previously unseen photos. For the most part, Frank Marino was perceived by the music business, and the majority of his fans, as a red-hot guitar player capable of laying down riffs and solos like they were going out of fashion. However, that overall impression belied his musical depth as a musician with a deep understanding of composition and arrangement. For Frank, despite his reputation for endless soloing, the goal was always about crafting songs that had meaning and weight. Nowhere is this better demonstrated than on the Juggernaut album. Recorded and released in 1982, the record showcases Frank in spectacular form, setting out a stall that solidly welds his penchant for blistering hard rock and memorable songs. The title track alone is arguably his greatest triumph, fusing a rock solid riff with a synthetic dusting of melody. Indeed, it became one of Frank's most successful tracks, nearly nudging him into the upper reaches of the American rock charts. And that song is not alone as there are several equally impressive examples, such as 'Midnight Highway' and the brilliantly evocative 'Stories Of A Hero'. Sadly for Frank, this was the point, after seven albums recording for Columbia Records, at which he and the label reached a creative impasse, resulting in him leaving the company and vowing never to record for a major label again. It was certainly a shame as, at long last, it seemed that he'd made a creative breakthrough, pointing him to a whole new level of creativity.

Great for 2 cycle, meh for 4 cycle.

This stuff is flat out amazing for 2 cycle small engines, works like advertised. 4 cycle isn't as good, if your engine hasn't ran in years, you'll still have to clean the carb, but it does help some. The 2 cycle oil for one is a lubricant and inhibits varnish buildup (especially a synthetic premium brand), and usually premium oil has a fuel stabilizer in it. Plus if you don't have a float bowl, there's not enough fuel for phase separation. I also use it in my mix for my ultrasonic cleaner when cleaning carbs. Overall a very good product, but understand it's limitations in this modern age of ethanal fuel.

It Works

This stuff works. I added it to my four 5 gallon gas cans before filling them up. I’ve used 10 gallons of gas in my lawn tractor so far and can tell it likes it. I do annual maintenance before summer and check or change the spark plug so it performs the best it can. I have 508 hours on it and with this it seems like it idols smoother, which indicates it has helped in the carburetor since I haven’t had to remove it and clean it. Works great.

Great product

Used this stabil in my rider after first start of the season. Machine running rough and uneven. Drained old fuel and added it. Within 15 minutes at full throttle it began to run normal. No back fires and engine back to normal. There will always be a bottle of this in my garage.

Works Great

I"ve used Stabil gas treaments for year but never this particular type. With gas the way it is, I decided to see how it might help my mower and also my older truck. My older push mower which admittedly doesn't get pampered and petted seems to love it. Either it's grateful to get anything special or this stuff really has helped. The first tank seemed a little smoother but by the second I could hear the difference and feel it with the smoother sound and seems more power. It's easy to mix and use and Stabil is a well known reputable company.
