Most of the tunes on Keep Away the Dead were born at Mara Hall in Mara, BC (pop. 350) where bed tracks were laid down in the crisp air during the depth of winter. The arctic atmosphere of that empty, cavernous, hardwood structure was the perfect complement to Huebert's sensibility: A tense and acute restraint; a shivering, biting, sometimes bitter rending of barebones, folk-inflected rock music. With the addition of Shaunn Watt and Peter Carruthers, Siskiyou has coalesced into a superb, incisive four-piece band, honed over the past year by extensive touring in Europe and Canada.

Excellent Rug & Unbeatable Customer Service!

I absolutely love this rug! It has completely transformed my living room—it looks surprisingly glam and feels wonderfully soft underfoot.
The feature that really sold me was that it's fully washable. I was nervous about cleaning it, but the process was surprisingly easy. I strongly recommend skipping the dryer and letting it air dry. I simply hung mine over my shower door, and it was completely dry overnight. I used a brush to gently separate the fibers, leaving it looking just as vibrant and feeling just as soft as it did when new.
Additionally, I had an interaction with their customer support team, and they were fantastic. They responded to my inquiry quickly, were respectful, and resolved my issue completely and professionally.
I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a beautiful, practical, and soft rug with stellar customer service backing it up. Five stars!
