The Bosch motor service repair kit is designed to work with BDU2XX (Generation 2) ebike motors. The service kit will only work with working drive units as this is not a kit that will fix non-working motors with electronics issues.

 

• Repair service kit for all Bosch BDU2XX drive units

The Service Kit Includes:

• Cover (seal, bearing freewheel) drive gear
• Gear grease
• Cover screws
• Bearing pin with rubber collared bush and protective disc
• Repair instructions

Tools Required:

  • Torx T25
  • Torque wrench
  • Torx T25 socket
  • Locking ring pliers 19-60mm
  • Tape (protect connectors when cleaning)
  • Clean rubber-type gloves to avoid contamination
  • Universal extractor / puller tool
  • Angled needle nose pliers
  • Scraper for old gasket removal

To determine if the kit will work with your drive system, the motor will need to be removed to locate the model # sticker or identify the model of the motor via your display (see owners manual for your display to learn how to use this feature). This repair kit is not compatible with the motors with the last 3 digits:
