The first generation of Quakers followed a covenant with God, based on assidious obedience to the promptings of the Inward Light. This process did not require the established churches, priests or liturgies. Quaker prayer then became a practice of patient waiting in silence. Prayer is a conscious choice to seek God, in whatever form that Divine Presence speaks to each of us, moment to moment. The difficulties we experience in inward prayer are preparation for our outward lives. Each time we return to the centre in prayer we are modelling how to live our lives; each time we dismiss the internal intrusions we are strengthening that of God within us and denying the role of the Self; every time we turn to prayer and to God we are seeking an increase in the measure of Light in our lives. David Johnson is a Member of Queensland Regional Meeting of the Australia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends. David is a geologist with both industry and academic experience, and wrote The Geology of Australia, specifically for the general public. He has a long commitment to nonviolence and opposing war and the arms trade, and has worked with the International Campaign to Ban Landmines. David delivered the 2005 Backhouse Lecture to Australia Yearly Meeting on Peace is a Struggle. A durable and reliable solution to protect your Apple TV 4K remote

A simple but rugged and durable case for such a fragile and expensive item. The case offers great padding and support for the remote. It fits perfectly over the shell of the device but adds little bulkiness to the overall feel. It is compatible with the most recent iteration of the Apple TV 4K remote. The buttons are easily accessible on the front and the case does provide ample support for the Siri button on the side. Depending on which color variant you choose, the case is easily visible when you inevitably drop it on your bedroom/living room/entertainment room floor.

So well made you could mistake it for an Apple designed case

I searched Amazon for a remote case with touch control sensitivity and this looked like the best option available. I did not check specs, that’s on me. When I received it I realized it wasn’t what I had hoped for. I am glad for the mistake, this keeps the back of the remote scratch free. The case fits so well it could be mistaken for an Apple made case. The edges are raised just enough to protect the controls. It has a nice feel to it and it’s easy to grip without fear of it slipping out of your hands.
