This multi-pack of 10 adjustable LED downlights is perfect for small to mid-size makeover projects and builds. It is IP20-rated, making it suitable for indoor use in entryways, home offices, living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms, and kitchens away from water sources. The downlight features an adjustable gimbal that allows tilting the light beams to change direction. Furthermore, installation is quick and straightforward, as this downlight has a twist-and-lock mechanism for quick bulb changes and a large loop-in/out push-fit terminal block for straightforward wiring. It is also mains-powered, eliminating the need for an independent driver or transformer.
Our LED downlight has an exquisite matt black finish that suits various design trends.
While this LED downlight works with any GU10 bulb, we suggest using a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch to optimise its dimming function. The GU10 bulb has three colour temperatures: natural white, cool white, and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are suitable for task lighting, while warm white light is perfect for ambient lighting.
This LED downlight is insulation-coverable, allowing loft insulation to be placed loosely over its rear. However, this is only permitted if paired with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. Insulation helps expel heat quickly, lowering the warmth trapped in your home and decreasing electrical consumption.
In addition, this LED downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. Fire-rated downlights like this have a built-in intumescent pad that activates at a specific temperature, blocking small gaps surrounding the downlight and preventing the fire from slipping through.
