FAQ

Q1: Can the Panda Bamboo Feeder be used together with Bambu Lab AMS (Bambu AMS)?

Yes, the Panda Bamboo Feeder and Bambu Lab AMS can be installed at the same time, but they cannot be used simultaneously.
When printing with the AMS, you must power off the Panda Bamboo Feeder. Otherwise, it will interfere with the AMS’s normal filament feeding and printing process. We recommend checking that the Panda Bamboo Feeder is powered off before starting an AMS print to avoid any conflicts.

 

Q2: Does the Panda Bamboo Feeder support multi-color printing?

No, the Panda Bamboo Feeder does not support multi-color printing.
It mainly provides filament buffering and auto-refilling functions, Ideal for large prints,finishing multiple leftover filament in a single print or printing with longer/more complex filament paths. It cannot achieve the automatic multi-color switching that the Bambu Lab AMS offers. If you need multi-color printing, we recommend using the AMS system or the BTT VVD for Klipper systems.

 

Q3: Can the Panda Bamboo Feeder print TPU flexible filament?

Yes, the Panda Bamboo Feeder can print TPU.
The actual supported hardness depends on your filament path design. We have successfully tested as low as 60A TPU.
The Panda bamboo feeder assisted feeding will help prevent extruder slips when printing tpu which causes failed prints . We recommend optimizing the filament path to minimize bends and resistance to improve TPU printing successs rate.
