Product description

Portland Pet Food Company is able to salvage and upcycle spent grains harvested from local breweries to make these unique and tasty dog treats. This process keeps excess waste out of landfills, resulting in a better planet and a highly nutritious snack for your pup! Portland Pet Food Company Brew Biscuit Dog Treats are all-natural and the closest your dog can get to enjoying a pint of beer right alongside you.

  • Brew Biscuits contain no alcohol or hops, just the highest quality ingredients sourced directly from breweries in the Pacific Northwest.
  • CONTAINS NO: Preservatives, BHA, BHT, growth hormones, artificial colors, supplements, or artificial anything.
  • These limited-ingredient dog treats mean great taste and quality for your pup.
  • Made in the USA with local, ethical ingredients.
  • Each biscuit is fully cooked, baked to perfection, and ready to eat anytime.

FEEDING GUIDELINES

Healthy and wholesome, these human-grade dog treats are intended as a reward or training treat and are not intended to be fed as a meal. Have clean, fresh water available for your dog at all times. Store in a cool, dry setting. Though these treats are full of ingredients you would like and human-grade quality, they are not intended for human consumption.

Sustainable, Natural and Delicious

These biscuits are baked by hand in Portland, Oregon, and are made sustainably! These treats are made with natural, USA-sourced ingredients and contain no preservatives or additives. Portland Pet Food Company hand mixes, rolls, and cuts each biscuit, then bakes them not once, but twice, to assure your pet has a tasty and crunchy treat.

  • 100% of your dog treats from Portland Pet Food Company are sourced and made in the United States.
  • Meats are USDA-approved and come from Cascade Farms, right in the Northwest.
  • We locally source organic barley flour from Bob's Red Mill.

HOW WE REPURPOSE SPENT GRAINS

Portland Pet Food Company upcycles spent grains for our brew biscuits, so your dog will feel as satisfied as a human having a microbrew at a local brewery. Repurposing spent grain from local breweries helps reduce our environmental footprint.

  • Because spent grain can account for 85% of a brewery’s total by-product and lead to major waste when disposed of improperly, these treats are a great choice for conscious consumers, just like you.

DO THESE TREATS CONTAIN BEER?

  • No. We use the spent grains, which are the nutrient-rich combination of the barley, lentils, or chestnuts that have been soaked in water and rinsed. Brewing companies use the liquid from the spent grains to create their beer. Instead of letting this go to waste, we gather the spent grains from them on brewing day to create our dog treats. These delicious dog cookies contain no alcohol or hops…just the same malty taste you enjoy with your beer.

INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD EAT

Portland Pet Food uses human-grade ingredients, including all-natural, local meats and grains. Your favorite Portland breweries even supply the grains. USA-sourced. No preservatives. No hormones. No meat by-products. Ever.

This Bakery Has Bark!

Portland Pet Food Brew Biscuits are made from unique recipes that are sure to get two paws up. This is way beyond your basic milk bone! Plus, 100% of the ingredients in our dog treat recipes are approved for human consumption.

LIMITED INGREDIENTS

Brew Biscuit treats are just barley (spent grains), organic rye flour (wheat-free), 100% natural peanut butter, and eggs. We all know how much pups love peanut butter dog treats! Then we bake the biscuits with either beef broth, organic pumpkin, or nitrate-free bacon and that’s it! Alcohol-free spent grains also contain very little gluten; barley comes from IPA brews, which are low in wheat.

PRESERVATIVE-FREE TREATS

To avoid the use of preservatives, we bake our treats and then continue to bake them for 2-3 hours to assure the spent grains are dry. The result is a very dry cracker that dogs enjoy for its taste and crunch. These flavorful, crunchy dog treats are the true definition of a biscuit.

JUST ASK THE DOGS

"Riley loves the Brew Biscuits. After he eats it, he licks the floor forever to make sure he gets every crumb. And then he sniffs all over the area in case he missed anything. You have a winner!"

--Tina F.

About Portland Pet Food Company

Unsure of what to feed Rosie, who no longer enjoyed her food and had started to lose weight, the amount of unnatural supplements in basic dog food shocked Katie. She began to cook Rosie’s meals, always focusing on natural ingredients. Rosie regained weight and Katie expanded on her healthy, natural meals and dog biscuits. Portland Pet Food Company was born!

70lb dog loves this kind of ball!
This is my dog's favorite style of ball! I have purchased others before, first from a local farm supply store and then others from Amazon, and this ball is of comparable quality to the others! The multi-tag design is great for my dog who love to tug and also to throw toys for himself. It's still inflated for now, but I'm under no pretense that it will stay that way forever. Part of the enjoyment my dog gets from his toys is in their destruction, and while we haven't hit that phase yet I'm sure it will come. This ball is great for medium to large-ish dogs who enjoy a ball that is kicked, thrown, or tugged!

So much fun
My dog is obsessed with this. It comes deflated and you have to pump it but it only takes like 30 seconds to pump. And it comes with the pump which is so convenient! It's nice because you can leave it a tad deflated so your dog can grab onto the ball part if you want. My dog has bitten it a ton and it hasn't popped or deflated yet so it seems sturdy. I like that there are multiple handles because not only does it make it easy to play tug o war but also then you can have multiple dogs playing with it at once. Has held up good over the past week and a great source of entertainment! My dog is about the size of an aussie for reference and it is perfect size for him and small enough for him to carry.

Can’t Take These Off – Ultimate Cozy House Boots!
Size: 12-13, Color: Fleece Black
Okay, I’ll be real — these Men’s Warm Up House Boots have officially replaced my old slippers. They’re insanely comfortable, super warm, and honestly, just make cold mornings way better. The thick Sherpa fleece lining is next-level soft; it feels like walking on a plush blanket ( and that's next ). I’ve been wearing them around the house non-stop ( in fact I'm wearing them now while i'm writing this review ) , and they keep my feet toasty even with tile floors and drafty mornings (New Hampshire winters hit hard). The non-slip soles are great too — I can walk from the living room to the garage without worrying about slipping. They’re flexible like socks but have that extra grip like real slippers. I also appreciate that they’re lightweight and breathable — my feet never overheat like they do in some bulky slippers. The design looks nice too; simple and cozy without being flashy. For the price, these are such a solid find. They feel durable enough to last through multiple seasons. If you’re the kind of person who wants that perfect mix of warm, soft, and practical, these are it. These are great for travel or outdoor lounging. These are a win for winter comfort!

Awesome slippers
Size: 14-15, Color: Fleece Black
Very warm and comfy, I have sasquatch feet (14 wide) and the 14-15 size fit great with plenty of room. It's very hard to find slippers in my size and these are awesome, especially for the price! Definitely recommend these, I've been wearing them pretty much daily around the house during this especially cold northeast winter and they're holding up perfectly.

Warm feet and ankles > everything
Size: 10-11, Color: Red/Black Check
So, I know the foam is going to wear out quick on these, but they are so warm I dont even care. I will update when they start getting beat up. But so far these are great. The soles on these arent the best. Its coushioned now, but even so my foot hangs off it. BUT, it is thick material and its keeping my feet and more importantly my ankles warm. Thats why I bought these. These isnt much on the bottoms to keep you from slipping hut what they have seems to be alright for now on hardwood floors. They fit true to size and are nice and stretchy, just beware the sole is a bit slim. For example my pinky toe hangs off it on both sides almost fully. Still a 7/10 would recommend for lounging around the house.
