Old-school calming herbs with L-theanine in easy bedtime tablets

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Sleep Rx is a classic sleep formula that mixes calming herbs, relaxation helpers, and a melatonin-like compound. The idea is simple: use a bunch of ingredients to tackle sleep from different sides instead of betting on just one. It targets your nervous system, stress feels, and getting to sleep. But here's the catch— all seven ingredients are in a 610 mg prop blend per two tablets, so you don't know exact amounts.

The ingredients are Valerian extract, Kava extract, L-Theanine, Paeonia lactiflora, Ziziphus spinosa extract, Wild Lettuce extract, and N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine. Valerian leads the list, which means it's the heaviest hitter by weight in prop blends. It's a go-to herb for calming and sedating, working on GABA signals— that's the brain chemical that helps you relax. Studies often use 300-900 mg of valerian, but with the blend at 610 mg total, we can't pin down the exact dose here.

Kava comes next. It's known for easing anxiety and tension, messing with GABA to dial down that wired feeling that keeps you up. It's smart for folks whose sleep sucks because of stress, not just bad timing. But real kava doses depend on kavalactones, and that's not listed.

L-Theanine is the most evidence-backed ingredient in the formula based on the available kno

Key Highlights

  • 610 mg prop sleep blend in two tablets—this packs seven ingredients for broad relaxation and easier sleep start. It's all about hitting multiple spots, but yeah, doses aren't broken out.
  • Valerian extract tops the blend— that's key in prop mixes since it shows what's heaviest. Makes sense for a sleep product leaning on classic calming herbs.
  • Kava extract as a main chill-out herb— it helps cut tension and anxiety, perfect if you're amped up at night. In sleep supps, it makes winding down feel more natural.
  • L-Theanine for a smoother mind— this one's got solid research for easing stress and better sleep. Doses usually run 100-400 mg, and it works by tweaking glutamate, boosting alpha waves, and supporting GABA, serotonin, and dopamine.
  • N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine brings melatonin-style help— adds a direct push to start sleeping, not just relying on herbs. Good if you struggle flipping from awake to asleep.
  • Mix of herbs for deeper calm— Paeonia lactiflora, Ziziphus spinosa extract, and Wild Lettuce extract expand beyond basic valerian and melatonin. Gives a fuller feel against restlessness and tension.
  • Simple tablets for bedtime— take two about 30 minutes before bed. Easy, no mixing or fuss for your night routine.
  • Aimed at getting to sleep, not everyday health— this isn't magnesium pretending to be a sleep aid. Ingredients focus on feeling calmer and ready for bed.

Who Is This For?

  • Late trainers wiped but wired. Valerian, kava, L-theanine, and melatonin mix targets that body-tired, mind-alert gap.
  • Stressed pros with tension keeping them up. L-theanine promotes calm via alpha waves and glutamate tweaks, valerian and kava add sedative punch at night.
  • Folks who tried plain melatonin and it fell short. This broadens with melatonin support plus calming herbs for more ways to drop off.
  • People into tablet night supps over mixes. Simple two-tablet, 30 minutes pre-bed for easy habit.
  • Users who like classic herbs like valerian and kava. This is that style, not the new magnesium-glycine-apigenin vibe.
  • Those fighting mind chatter over sleep tracking. L-theanine has top research for stress cut and sleep boost, pairs great with herbs.

How to Use

Take two tablets 30 minutes before bed with water. Gives time for valerian, kava, L-theanine, and melatonin stuff to work before you hit the hay. Use full dose only on nights with real rest ahead—no driving or alerts needed.

With all the calmers, don't mix randomly with booze or other sleep stuff. If you're new to this, test on a chill night since valerian and kava hit different. Full stomach might slow it, so lighter evenings give better feel.

Not for daytime stress, and stick to the label. No stims, so no need to cycle like caffeine stuff, but use on tough sleep nights for best vibes. Store cool and dry, sealed tight.

What to Expect

First 0-15 minutes: nothing big, especially in tablets. It's absorbing, and you're just starting your wind-down with something to calm things.

20-45 minutes: this is when you feel calmer and heavier. Theanine smooths brain buzz, valerian, kava, and herbs shift you from restless to ready.

45-90 minutes: hits strongest for bedtime feel if it works for you. Less urge to scroll or think, more ready to crash. Over a week, it's the routine that helps most. By weeks 2-4, good responders say bedtime feels predictable and less fighty, but prop blend limits big buildup claims.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the serving size for Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Sleep Rx?

The verified label context indicates a serving size of 2 tablets. That 2-tablet serving provides a 610 mg proprietary blend containing valerian extract, kava extract, L-theanine, Paeonia lactiflora, Ziziphus spinosa extract, Wild Lettuce extract, and N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine.

When should I take Sleep Rx?

Take 2 tablets about 30 minutes before bedtime. That timing is appropriate for a formula built around sedative botanicals and a melatonin-related ingredient, giving the product time to help shift you into a sleep-ready state.

Does Sleep Rx contain melatonin?

The label lists N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine, which is a melatonin-related compound. It serves the formula's sleep-initiation purpose, but the exact amount is not disclosed because it is part of the 610 mg proprietary blend.

How much L-theanine is in Sleep Rx?

The exact L-theanine dose is not disclosed. It is included within the 610 mg proprietary blend and is listed after valerian extract and kava extract, so it cannot be verified against the common 100-400 mg clinical range from the label alone.

Is Sleep Rx a fully transparent formula?

No. Sleep Rx uses a 610 mg proprietary blend, which means the total amount of the blend is disclosed but the individual dose of each ingredient is hidden. That limits precise clinical dose analysis compared with full-disclosure sleep products.

What does L-theanine do in this formula?

L-theanine is included to help quiet the mentally overactive, stressed state that often interferes with sleep. It works by modulating glutamate signaling, increasing alpha-wave activity, and supporting calming neurotransmitters like GABA, serotonin, and dopamine.

Can I take Sleep Rx with alcohol?

No. This product already combines multiple calming and sedative-leaning ingredients, including valerian, kava, wild lettuce, and a melatonin-related compound. Alcohol can intensify central nervous system depression and is not an appropriate pairing.

Will Sleep Rx make me groggy the next morning?

It can in some users, especially if you are sensitive to sedative botanicals or do not allow enough time for a full night's sleep. Valerian, kava, wild lettuce, and the melatonin-related component are all relevant to that possibility.

Is Sleep Rx good for people who are wired but tired?

Yes, that is one of the most logical use cases for this formula. Theanine targets mental overactivity, while valerian and kava add a stronger calming and sedative layer for people whose body is tired but whose nervous system has not shut off.

Can I stack Sleep Rx with another sleep formula?

That is generally not a good idea unless a healthcare professional tells you otherwise. This formula already includes multiple central calming ingredients, so stacking it with other sleep aids increases the risk of excessive sedation and next-day grogginess.

Great quality wire for any automotive or 12 volt wiring
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
This GS Power 16 gauge wire is excellent quality for any automotive wiring project. The copper is true OFC pure copper, not copper clad aluminum. It’s flexible, easy to route, and holds up well without the insulation feeling cheap or brittle. I have used it for automotive accessory wiring and some 12V equipment projects and it handled everything perfectly. The wire pulls cleanly, solders well, and the insulation thickness gives it a durable feel without being overly bulky. If you need dependable wire for automotive, marine, RV, audio, or general electrical projects, this is a great buy. I would absolutely purchase it again.

Not the sorry copper coated aluminum.
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
The wire is 16 gauge plenty big for my system. Heck, the wires supplied with my stereo, copomonet speakers, and amplifiers are about 20 or 24 gauge. I'm quite sure the wire will be more than suffeceint. I, m installing a mono sub amplifier a four-way amplifier to the sub amp outputs and the front of lines of the stereo. I'm gonna be pushing 20 speakers all except the sub woofer only pushing 100 watts a channel and the sub will push 150 watts. That makes 21 altogether. Not much just good clean sound. I've been working on the project going on 5 years now. Been bargain hunting, besides the work I've only got about $650 in the project. Can't wait to get it completed here around the end of July. Hopefully, it will sound great didn't want to pay anyone. Seen too many "professional" jobs that were subpar. I've seen some nightmares. Figured if l did the job then who could I blame at least I can only blame myself and didn't pay $1,000 for it. 😁🤔
