At the heart of the piece lies an irregularly cut ruby, its deep pinkish red tone offering a striking contrast to the delicate white of the pearls. A symbol of enduring love framed in purity and devotion.

The locket opens from the base, revealing an interior of exceptional artistry. One half holds a finely carved curved heart shaped glass panel. Remarkable for its three dimensional form, not flat, but subtly domed, a testament to the incredible precision and skill of Georgian jewellers. Condition: the pendant is in lovely condition - there is one tiny pearl missing on one side by the opening. The ruby has a tiny nibble as general wear
