To be honest arranging the earring on the tree is a bit of a pain, because the leaves tilt in different directions, and you have to play with it a bit to get the earrings to hang the way you would like them, but once you figure it out, they look very nice. I use the basket on the side for rings and watches, and the little plate in the base for a few miscellaneous pieces like necklaces or bracelets for balance and because they look nice. You'll love it.

I wasn't sure about purchasing the jewelry stand at first (I had my doubts), but those doubts quickly disappeared upon the arrival/unpackaging of the jewelry stand. It's still pretty, though, and holds a lot of jewelry. PRICE-WISE If you're looking at the price and it says $45 or more, don't buy it. I waited a month for the price to go down (I'm just a cheapskate) and it did. It went from $45 or so, down to $25 or so. So, unless its life or death, be patient and buy it when the price is right. OVERALL? In general, I was pleased with the product. It wasn't my dream jewelry stand, but it was worth my money and the wait.
