This Georgian pendant is set with five cushion cut citrines, each mounted in a closed back, foiled setting designed to amplify their colour and brilliance. Foil backing is a technique highly prized in Georgian jewellery that was used to enhance the natural warmth and depth of coloured gemstones, allowing them to catch and reflect light even in candlelit interiors.
