Iedere pagina bevat een grote, stevige flap van karton met daarin een doorkijkje om alvast te spieken wat erachter verstopt zit. Kinderen kunnen meetellen met één Rupsje Nooitgenoeg, twee springende kikkers, drie zwemmende vissen, vier zoemende bijen en vijf fladderende vlinders.
