De Acer platanoides 'Drummondii' is een Noorse esdoorn met opvallend bont blad. De bladeren zijn groen in het midden met een elegante crèmekleurige rand, wat de boom een frisse en sierlijke uitstraling geeft.

Met zijn piramidale kroon en een uiteindelijke hoogte van 8 tot 10 meter is deze boom een echte blikvanger in de tuin. Hij groeit niet erg snel, maar dat maakt hem juist goed beheersbaar en geschikt voor verschillende tuinen en landschappen.
