This specific joint is a 2 1/2 in. diameter, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, 2 1/4 in. of 1 1/4 in.-12 right hand threads on the shank, and a 2.625 in. mounting width ball with a .562 in. thru bolt hole. We purchased two of these for our grandkids (ages 6 and 8) to use while they visited for 3 days. It was “indoor camping” and they worked perfectly. Lightweight construction made them comfortable in 70+ degrees, and the way the manufacturer uses multiple pockets of insulation keeps it from bunching up, while remaining super soft and comfortable.
