AS Artist Wax MediumArt Spectrum Wax Medium is a mixture of oil and beeswax. Wax Mediums are versatile and stable, resistant to insects, bacteria and mould. Mix with oil colour to achieve a translucent effect. Not suitable for heavy impasto. Imparts a satin finish. It is recommended you do not add more than 20% wax medium to your paint (this can soften the paint film) and that you do not expose paintings using wax medium to extreme cold.
